Simon Smith
Game Designer
Game designer with a specialty in level design, systems and gameplay programming. My familiarity with Unity and C# allow me to create prototypes very fast. I have some basic skills in illustration which lends itself to communicating ideas to other designers, programmers and artists. I have experience creating wireframes, system descriptions, diagrams and design docs to provide as many opportunities for clarity as possible.
Life Outside of Game Development
I've worked as a barista for 5+ years as well, so I pride myself on my customer service, communication and ability to get along with people. I love playing games, talking about games, and most of all working on them. Outside of gaming, I love to walk, binge watch documentaries, play with my cat, play tennis, go fishing and looking at fashion.
My favorite games in terms of hours played are:
Fallout New Vegas, League of Legends, Starcraft 2's Desert Strike, Dark souls and Risk of Rain 2.
